Music Projects
Here's some information about my various musical projects, past, present, and future. No guarantees, explicit or implicit, are to be construed from the supply of such.
Seastar NT
Seastar NT is my main musical effort. I think of it as a collaboration with the talented and multi-instrumental Dana Clark, but it's really just him doing his thing and me trying to keep up. I can't really figure out what to call the style, but there are a bunch of mp3s that you can download and listen to.
ClusterFugue
Tones and Dana on guitar, me on bass, Rich on drums. It's a boatload of fun. Lot of open jamming and hysterical vocals. Pretty free and loose, a great way to relax on the weekends. Some mp3s can be found at the SeastarNT download page. I might pop a few up here too, now and then.
Stevie Haze
My last musical effort with Steve was a hard rock sort of thing. It didn't work out too well. Turns out hard rock wasn't really his ideal approach: it was something the drummer twisted his songs into. Steve professed some interest about recording a studio demo, but we put it off until after Christmas and I haven't heard from him since. We'll see.
Solo
I do record some stuff that I don't really plan to use in other projects. This is not to say they can't be collaborative: anything I do is open for any project. But they're things I don't really envision as necessarily meshing with the projects. For the most part, I'll make them available for download and comment. And if you've got something to contribute to any of them, go crazy and send me a recording!!
Elevator Cops
On stage with Elevator Cops.Fun stuff: Tones & Greg on guitar, Rich on drums, and me on bass. Broke up due to various irreconcilable differences. Still friends. No mp3s for public consumption.
Adam-Chris Band
This was a not-too-serious, on-again-off-again, college-era, over-hyphenated effort that resulted in some good tracks and a lot of laughs. Just two guys winging it in front of a microphone. Some rap, some blues, some jazz, a few covers, and a lot of completely inappropriate lyrics. Some of these tracks may be worth revisiting actually....
